Tribal Enrollment

The Southern Ute Indian Tribal membership is comprised of the Mouache and Capote bands of the Ute Nation. Intermarriage with non-tribal and other Native American Indian Tribes has resulted in the establishment of a Tribal Consitutional requirement that requires persons requesting to be considered for enrollment, into the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, possess 1/4 or more of Southern Ute Indian blood.
