Johnson O'Malley Program (JOM)

Provides some financial assistance to meet needs of eligible Native American students K-12 in the Ignacio and Bayfield School Districts. A parent committee is responsible for approving requests made to the JOM. JOM meetings are the first Monday of every month, call Education for more information.

Special Events Program

Assists Southern Ute students (K-12) who meet the established guidelines to receive one grant per year shared 60/40%.

Private School Scholarship

Assists Southern Ute students (K-12) with private school scholarships.

Computer Purchase Program

Assists Southern Ute students (K-college). Education will pay for 50% of the total cost of a computer up to $1250.00. The students must have their portion of the funding before Education makes their contribution.

These programs have policy requirements.

High School Graduate Banquet

We invite High School graduates and their families to enjoy dinner and to celebrate their achievements.
