Southern Ute Indian Montessori Academy

The Southern Ute Education division is made up of six departments: Library, Recreation, Adult Education, Ute Language and Culture, Tutoring and Enrichment, Administration/Higher Education.

    A number of programs are associated with these different departments which server the educational and cultural needs of Southern Ute Tribal members.

K12 Education

    The majority of our Southern Ute youth attend the Ignacio Public Schools in Ignacio, an incorporated township within the reservation. Remaining students are either in public or private schools off the reservation.
