The Lands Division provides for the administration, management, protection, conservation and surface utilization of lands owned by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe for the benefit of the Tribe and its members. Services include processing applications for Tribal-member land assignments and administering those assignments, issuing Crossing Permits for non-members and ensuring completion of all clearances and surveys for assignments and any ground-disturbing projects on the Reservation. The Division also purchases properties within the exterior boundaries of the Reservation that fit the guidelines of its land consolidation program.
