Welcome

Welcome to our website!

The Southern Ute Indian Reservation, located in the scenic San Juan Basin of southwestern Colorado, is home to the Southern Ute Tribe. The Southern Utes are one of the three Federally recognized Ute tribes that also includes the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe (also in southwestern Colorado), and the Northern Ute Tribe (in northeastern Utah).

The Southern Ute Tribe strives to provide outstanding hunting and fishing opportunities for its membership throughout its lands. The Tribe is also pleased to provide these opportunities, on a more limited basis, to its non-Indian neighbors. At this time, other forms of outdoor recreation on Tribal lands are generally limited to Southern Ute Tribal members, their families, and guests. This website provides information on the hunting and fishing programs of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation. If you have questions about hunting, fishing, or other uses of Southern Ute lands, you should be able to find your answers here. If not, please contact us!
