Southern Ute Detention Center General Information

 The Southern Ute Detention Center is a Tribal Facility located within the exterior boundaries of the Southern Ute Reservation, Town of Ignacio. The Detention Facility has been in operation Since January of 1999. The Facility has a bed capacity of 57 inmates. The Southern Ute Detention Facility has a multitude of programs for those inmates incarcerated here. The Detention Facility has several contracts with other agencies such as Immigration, Federal Marshalls, La Plata County, Archuleta County and several Tribal entities located in New Mexico.
